In 2015, Valladolid celebrated the diamond anniversary of the International Film Week (SEMINCI) all dressed up in its best finery and with a programme packed with interesting proposals from the seventh art, coming from all four corners of the world
backed up by its respective entourage.

Amongst so much artistic quality, a first that had never been done before in film festivals emerged: our participation and the award for the “most impactful” film, which was part of the ‘Official Section’ of this illustrious contest. So fans had the chance to participate in SEMINCI like never before, as a “neuroscientific” jury for the ‘Sociograph Award 2015’ award.

In this regard, the emotion and attention of more than 800 spectators “decided” that the distinction for the film with the greatest impact in the Section would go to ‘Mustang’ by filmmaker Deniz Ergüven, a story that rides between adolescent innocence , provocation and the vision of immorality characteristic of times gone by.
